Inquirer's Class!
The Inquirer's Class is an introductory program designed to help people learn about Evangel church, its ministries, and beliefs. While the class is required for those seeking church membership, there's no obligation to join the church after attending. The class typically runs over three consecutive Sunday afternoons, with dates varying throughout the year. The next session is scheduled for February 2nd, 9th, 23rd, and March 2nd, taking place during the Sunday school hour in Room 203.
2025 Simpson World Missions Conference
Our Simpson World Missions Conference will be February 16--23. We are excited to announce that Dr. Jeff Lowman will be our conference speaker. Dr. Lowman retired from Evangel in 2022, after serving as our Senior Pastor for 32 years; he is currently on staff with Equipping Leaders International where he serves as a Faculty Instructor across a number of ELI’s partnerships as a co-teacher both in-person and via Zoom
Evangel Ladies Winter Study!
The Ladies’ Winter Bible Study began on Wednesday, January 8, at 9:30 a.m. at the home of Debbie Elliott. It's not too late to join us! This 12 week study will take an in-depth look into the garden of Eden. For more information, contact Debbie at (205) 612-4073.
Mothers of Preschoolers
Do your goals for the new year include making some new mom friends? We hope so! Come join us as we encourage each other to thrive in these important years of mothering. Our next meeting is February 3rd , from 6:15 p.m.8:30 p.m. Dinner is served and childcare is available with reservation. RSVP to Jenny Wheeler (205) 729-3088. Our Evangel children’s and youth ministries are dynamic and welcoming communities where young people can grow in their faith and form meaningful relationships. We strive to create an environment that nurtures a genuine relationship with God, providing a strong biblical foundation that children and teens can build upon. We partner with families to support their children and teens in strengthening their relationships with God, their friends, and the broader church community, ensuring they feel valued and empowered in their spiritual journey.
